How to Use Embeddable Scripts in Poptics Popup (Pro)

If you want to display the Poptics popup on an external or third-party website without installing the Poptics plugin there, the script option is the ideal solution. Using the script offers multiple benefits:

  • Seamlessly send real-time data to external websites.
  • Enable efficient communication with third-party sites.
  • Avoid unnecessary communication when no relevant actions are taking place.

Requirements:

To utilize the script, you will need the following plugins:

  • Poptics
  • Poptics Pro

To implement the script, first, generate the required script by following the provided steps. Then, use the script on your external website to display the Poptics popup.

Additionally, if you wish to restrict the usage of the script to specific domains, you can configure domain restrictions.

How to Generate the Script

To generate the script for your Poptics popup, follow these steps:

First, ensure that both the Poptics Free and Poptics Pro plugins are activated on your website. Then, navigate to Poptics → Campaigns in the WordPress dashboard, where you will see a list of all your campaigns. From there, select the popup campaign you wish to use.

To get the embed script, click the Action button (three dots) next to the campaign you want to use. From the dropdown menu, select Get Embed Script.

A popup will appear displaying the generated script. Copy the script and paste it into the external website or page where you want the popup to appear.

Domain Registration

To restrict the Poptics popup to specific domains, navigate to Poptics → Settings → Advanced. Enable the Domain Registration option.

Then, insert the domain name(s) where you want the popup to appear. If you wish to display the popup on multiple domains, you can add multiple domain names.
